In welcoming students to their brand-new, purpose-built, campus buildings, the Media Design School wanted a digital installation that made the space immediately engaging and exciting. In collaboration we developed a looped digital exploration of their ‘spark’ logo form and projected it in the main entrance way.
Progressing through various styles, textures and renders, the projection celebrates abstraction, exploration, and the very technology that makes it possible. For the Media Design School these values reflect their own ethos of creativity and technical innovation.
The installation was also constructed to be scalable, allowing students to bring their own experiments and personalities to the format. The result is a moment of immersive wonder that keeps the act of entering the school grounds feeling fresh and surprising for students and tutors alike.
