Google Shopping Warehouse

A 3D online shopping experience shows bricks-and-mortar retailers the potential of embracing e-commerce.

Digital retail is an important revenue stream in all markets, even those like India that have classically focussed on physical stores. To help business-owners see the potential online we created a special event where they were thrown into a 3D world to take a virtual journey through a digitally guided transaction.

Combining talks, roundtables and quizzes, Google’s Shopping Warehouse event gave a series of attending retailers a comprehensive picture of how embracing digital could help them. To drive the point home and provide moments of engagement, we supported the event with a series of digital creations.

A digitally empowered bicycle pump was used to get audience members to blow up a series of inflatable models on screen and reveal statistical insights. In another space, a mocked-up living-room was transformed via projection into a 3D space where participants could pick and follow a digitally guided transaction.

Through selecting a product they like, to a series of decisions on how and where to buy the item, our audiences picked out different retail journeys.
