Grimace has returned to New Zealand to engage both old and new fans, celebrating his comeback with a custom-made social filter.
Paired with Our Watch (Australia’s leader in the primary prevention of violence against women), PHQ collaborated with DDB AU to extend the reach of the Comfort Zone board game to where young Australians hang out – social media.
Enforcing boundaries and saying ‘no’ can be daunting, especially for youth. The board game Comfort Zone encourages safe discussions about relationship boundaries by prompting players to rate how comfortable they feel about behaviours. PHQ digitised this gameplay into a TikTok filter for Our Watch.
With playful characters, the AR integration encourages users to nod their heads along a "comfy to uncomfy" scale to answer boundary questions. PHQ focussed the UI on messaging hierarchy to ensure young people can rely on this tool to discuss relationship limits IRL. With over five million views, we feel comfortable that they can.
Feel comfy with Our Watch, a social filter created to help Australian youth feel more comfortable discussing relationship boundaries.
Featuring playful characters from the Comfort Zone board game, users get comfortable with knowing where they align on issues like sharing locations, talking about gender identity, having different lifestyles, and more.
