Celebrating the new launch of Google’s Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, we collaborated with Von Holzhausen to create a bespoke carry-pouch given to customers with the purchase of a new phone. Crafted in sustainable Technik™ leather, it complemented the phones with style, functionality and class.
The project required a large amount of research and testing to ensure we met with Google’s utility and sustainability objectives. The pouch design itself required several stages of prototyping to get the scale, build, packaging and strap length right.
With a large production scale across APAC, we were proud to get the Google branded pouch to the highest standard. Only the very best result was acceptable to make the pouch feel like a natural complement to Google’s premium devices.
The annual product launch is a huge moment for Google globally. For our APAC region, the pouch was a key initiative to leverage engagement and drive sales.
